Odyssey of the Mind Program Guide

Coaches Manual

Become an OMER

Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college.

Team members apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to reinterpreting literary classics. They then bring their solutions to competition on the local, state and world level. Thousands of teams from around the U.S. and about 25 other countries participate. Join the many Magic Center Region teams on their Odyssey journey!

Registration is easy. Click on the Register tab above to get started.

"It goes without saying that a child
is impacted creatively in Odyssey.
They learn to ask the questions not asked by others.
When you take the word 'no'
out of the equation and instead say, “
I didn’t say you couldn’t,'
it unlocks a part of the brain begging to be heard."

— Lindsay Elliott, Education Specialist
at On Growing Education, Winter Garden
