Osceola Schools Spontaneous Workshop
A Spontaneous Workshop exclusively for Odyssey of the Mind teams from The School District of Osceola County will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Bellalago Academy, 3651 Pleasant Hill Road, Kissimmee. At this workshop, teams will develop the skills they need to solve a wide variety of spontaneous problems.
Cost is $5 per attending team member. Advance registration is mandatory! Payment may be brought to the workshop, and checks may be made out to FLOMA (Florida Odyssey of the Mind) or Anna Long.
Once your team is registered, you MUST pay the fee, even if you change your mind or the team fails to attend.
WE WILL NEED ADULT VOLUNTEERS to lead problems during the workshop. Please make every effort to have at least two adults attend the workshop with each team so that one can rotate with the team and the other can lead a problem. An added benefit: By leading a problem, you'll be able to see how other teams approach solving problems, which in turn will help you more effectively train your team.
If you have questions, please email Anna Long.
NOTE: Because this workshop is not open to all teams in the region, it is not being publicized in our newsletters, on our Facebook page or on a public page on the website.
